The Reverend Wil Gafney, PhD, Sam B. Hulsey Professor of Hebrew Bible at Brite Divinity School, will offer a three-session Salon (or Colloquium) in womanist biblical scholarship and hermeneutics that will engage a very select group of interpretive readings. In response to the assigned readings, participants will articulate their own womanist biblical hermeneutics and where necessary, position themselves with regard to womanism if reading from an accompanying posture of solidarity.
